Eaton Farms began in 1988 when Don Eaton and his father Larry purchased an existing retail nursery and garden center in Leesport, PA. Don and Larry purposely looked in rural southeastern Pennsylvania because of its excellent growing climate, and the proximity to the Mid-Atlantic and New England markets. Traditional B&B tree production evolved into the Pot in Pot method of growing trees and we haven’t looked back since. The benefits of Pot in Pot production were quickly recognized on the nursery and by our customer base.
Eaton Farms has since developed into the premier grower of containerized Trees for Retail Garden Centers offering over 140 selections of shade, flowering, evergreen trees and a full line of fruiting plants for the home orchard. Eaton Farms specializes in the production of container grown dogwood, redbud and many hard to find specialty trees. Sizes range from #7 to #25 size containers with a high percentage being grown in #15 sizes.
Eaton Farms annually produces a full line of Topiary available in #10 size containers, a wide assortment of deciduous and evergreen Shrubs in #7 size containers, specialty and evergreen trees, fruit trees and fruiting plants and many native and beneficial items within those groups.
While our specialty remains Trees for the independent garden center offering three price points that meets the need of any budget minded home gardener, Eaton Farms has become the preferred supplier of many Landscape design firms for unusual and hard to find trees in larger sizes suitable for responsible and professional landscapes.
